My quality of life was on a downward spiral due to an office-based career, poor nutrition, and bad sleep habits. An unexpected severe injury to both rotator cuffs abruptly worsened my situation making me depressed. I started training with Stay Strong and in 9 months we reversed the downward spiral. I now have much greater strength and mobility, which vastly improves my quality of life. By adopting the Stay Strong training approach, I am transforming into the strong healthy person I want to be and I am no longer depressed. I feel like my best years are still ahead of me.
In addition, I have learned that strength and mobility training should not be a mindless repetitive activity, but a highly scientific, targeted, and purposeful approach to getting and staying healthy.
I came to Stay Strong with a goal of body fat reduction. In the beginning, I felt a bit dubious when doing my first training session, but soon began to enjoy them, especially when seeing and feeling the positive results. From my time spent training with Stay Strong I've realized that I also need more muscular strength and endurance. I got progressively stronger and my muscular endurance improved dramatically over the past year.

Stay Strong is a unique personal training experience! This is not the typical personal training that you see in the gym. These techniques are different. While everyone is doing the traditional arm curl, my Stay Strong trainer will have you doing something else to build those biceps. I was instructed to do pull-ups, and let me tell you he made sure that I did them correctly (extending you arms fully and not just doing the jerking motion as most do). If you are serious about getting in shape and want a personal trainer, those you find at Stay Strong are uniquely the best. Otherwise go to the gym and pay all your hard earned money for a personal trainer who gives you no results. I say this because I've been a Stay Strong client for three years and have seen results.
Working with Stay Strong has been the best decision I have made (having worked with 4 personal trainers over the past 30 years). One aspect that has set Stay Strong apart, is that my every rep is closely watched so that when there is a problem I am always receiving slight corrections to form. Stay Strong also really tailors the exercise program for each individual. This has been really helpful, when at 66, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. My trainer spent time researching the condition and making certain that the strength training we are doing is right to increase bone density. He has also helped me by providing supplements for this condition.
